Rock 'n' Roll Baby

Meet my beautiful younger sister Shira, usually my photographer but certainly a treat in front of the camera. Shira's figure has been my envy for years - how come I got two logs for legs and hers are these long slender beauties?!?! (ha mom?!) One of my favorite activities is dressing her up even though our tastes are completely different and she's usually not that obedient. This time she went along since she's the one who came up with the rock 'n' roll idea and frankly I'm much more of a 50's housewife than an edgy rocker.

Desperate Housewife

If you've been following my outfits you probably already figured out that my favorite decade in terms of fashion (and my main inspiration while getting dressed) is the 50's. The dress I'm wearing here is an original piece from that time, which I bought on an online vintage store http://www.dressingvintage.com/. The dress came with a matching bolero which was sadly lost in my very messy house, but I've still got the hope of finding it one day…

Book Worm

So my mom bought me a new pair of glasses - in a beautiful shop in San German - Francis Klein.
I know I gave you options of glasses to choose from and asked for your help - though your help was much appreciated, when I saw this pair I forgot about all of the rest ;)

Dyed Fur

Blumarine Fall 2012
Fall 2012 shows featured so many trends, it's becoming really hard to keep up (it's pretty hard to believe that there were days when 2-3 trends ruled an entire decade, I wonder how present time fashion will be remembered years from now, which looks will survive the test of time… just a thought).

One of my favorite trends for the future fall is the dyed furs. The catwalks were packed with fur coats, scarves and bags from all types of textures and colors. I don't know why but fur coats always remind me of old petite French ladies walking the streets of Paris with dissatisfied looks on their faces. There's something very heavy in fur clothing that gives me a feeling of over seriousness and adulthood – exactly why I loved the dyed furs so much. The strong colors take the heavy away from the fur and give it a feeling of freshness and lightness, adding a bit of much needed humor.

La Tante New Looks

This week I modeled a few looks for La Tante's new collection - a women's and children's nostalgic fashion brand located here in Israel. For you Israeli folks (or tourists), the brand is having a sale every Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nemal Yafo 32, Jaffa - certainly worth a visit.

After Purim

Sadly, this Purim I was stuck in bed with the flu, so all of my plans to photograph Tel-Aviv all dressed up had to be neglected. I still managed to go out and celebrate a little, this year my husband and I decided to dress as Roger and Jessica Rabbit – I know, I know, not that original, but every Jewish girl knows the main goal is to look hot in your Purim costume , so that was what I was aiming for… The photos we took came out horrible so I have no choice but to leave how we looked to your imagine - trust me, it's better for every one :)

Today, after finally feeling better and getting out of bed, I got out to a warm summery day which made me realize, yet again, how much I miss the summer.
