My Famous Blue Raincoat (and a lot of what's underneath)

There's nothing my mother in law hates more than throwing stuff away, imagine her joy when she found out I'm a vintage freak and a clothes collector -  I got a huge sack of old garments with a promise that this is just the beginning.
One of the best pieces hidden in the sack was this amazing blue coat which has been a blessed addition to my winter wardrobe.
My tip for you is - raid your mother's/mother in law's/grandmother's/aunt's closets, you really don't know what gold you'll come across.

Pre-Fall Colors

Besides being another way for fashion houses to make more money, (aren't 4 seasons enough?), Pre-Fall collections are a good predictor of what we're going to see in fall.
Being a style.com iPhone addict (if you haven't tried it - you should, that is THE way fashion show shots were meant to be seen), I was very happy to see my 2 favorite colors dominating the lookbooks. I won't lie, red and green are my favorite colors because I look good wearing them, but objectively speaking (or at least trying to), these 2 colors have a somewhat royal feel to them that makes looks both dramatic and classic - a winning combination for fall and winter in my opinion.
Following are some of the best red & green looks for this coming pre-fall, enjoy :)

Cropped Tops

We've seen them all over the runways in the spring 2012 shows and I personally really like wearing a short top during winter with a tight body suite underneath and a pair of skinny pants. My sister, Shira, carries this look best in my opinion.

My Favorite

I bought this dress about 4 years ago in the late Tel-Aviv designer market and every winter since it's been my season wardrobe's pride and joy. I simply LOVE it.
